The Deluxe room was wonderful!

The sea is just 50 meters away and you have direct access to it, also the room was really comfortable. The owner was very friendly.

The mosquito net was really appreciated because there were many many mosquitos in the room. Very nice and helpful owners

The location is quite far so tuktuk for moving is needed and, then, the price stops being so competitive. The beds of the economic room were horrible, very thin matress so you could feel the wood. No hot water but it was not a problem because it was so so hot that day.

If Negombo is the first city you’re landing for your Sri Lanka trip, choose this place and be sorted for the rest of your trip. The location is 20 mins away from the airport. This stay is hosted by a son and father who are very friendly people! They have been running this homestay since 50 years now and they are doing it very well. Let the hosts know of any requirements you have for your trip in Sri Lanka- and they’ll help you out! I loved my stay at SunShine Guest House!

Nothing to not like. It is a full value for money stay!

Our room was wonderful. The man was, quite rightly, very proud of what he had made. Seemed new. Attention to detail with shelving and storage. Arty extras added to this looked after feeling. Bed was big and comfortable. A/C and fan. Everything worked. Porch outside with chairs as well as communal seating area towards beach. Kitchenette, with fridge available. Son and father both lovely people.

Beach quite narrow and with litter. A bit of a walk to main area of shops and resturants ...OK for us as we had a tuk tuk....bikes would also help with this.
