The owners Janice & Roddie where lovely. The house was amazing and the views breath taking.

There wasn't a thing I didn't like. Truly a beautiful place to stay.

Amazing place, great location. Extremely well thought out place. Had a separate ante room for maps, books, guides even warmer clothes. There wasn’t anything that wasn’t thought of.

The morning welcome from the owner was not pleasant, due to a misunderstanding anout the late check-in. If you allow late check-in, I advise you to use the key box installed at the entrance. We asked how to use the heaters during the night and the owner told that the heaters operate from 6pm to 9pm. She advised me to come back home earlier if I wanted to enjoy a warmer room. Too many restrictions about what you can do or not do The owner had a nice gesture by offering breakfast for free, but should pay more attention to the expiration dates of the products

Very comfortable room with lots of information leaflets and books on the surrounding area. Janice was very friendly and accommodating.

Very peaceful area but might be too isolated for some people.

The location is absolutely fantastic, especially if you go for the northern lights. The room as also quite comfortable and cleaning was also irreprehensible.

The host. Check out is at 10 a.m. (which is quite early, but hey) We left at 10:10 (sharp!). It is beyond the check out time indeed, but the host was unnecessarily unpleasant and extremely passive aggressive as soon as we got down the stairs. We later found out she had already sent an email reminding us of the check-out time, at 10:05. Insane. Everything had been great until then, but tbh the last 5 min left a bitter taste to the experience. It is a shame.

The rural waterfront location, waking to the sound of birds and sheep in the surrounding croft. A comfortable, quiet getaway with spectacular views. Thanks to our welcoming host, Janice.
