"Exceptional"

Very nice facility. Murdo, the owner, was friendly and extremely helpful. He really added a lot of value to the stay. We ate dinner there one night as well and the food was great, and reasonably priced. Overall it was a terrific stay and I would not hesitate to recommend this for anyone staying in Portree.

"Great place to stay on Skye with fabulous food"

Great place with a funky, modern vibe. Rooms large, with great linens and well stocked with fantastic view. The host, Murdo was awesome, so friendly and helpful. The kitchen under Chef Scott was Michelin 3 star in my book - Fabulous food!

A welcoming with a good glass of talisker. The food was excellent, I strongly recommend it. Murdo has great advices for the rest of your trip. a really excellent experience.

A simply wonderful family-run small hotel. Spacious and comfortable rooms, very comfortable bed, lovely big bathroom, everything spotlessly clean. Outstanding food - the chef is a dream. Fresh produce from the garden cooked with creative perfection. Murdo was a wonderful host - very friendly and helpful with great tips on how to have the best time in Portree. Highly recommended!

In all honesty, they were doing everything right in my opinion.

The Host was the best. The house was exceptionally clean, modern and the food was very palatable and creative.
