The Green at Burnsall

The location, with parking, was perfect for a visit to Burnsall. Easy but secure access to the property. The room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were first class. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. We had never been before and it exceeded any expectations. We would rate this place above many hotels we stayed in throughout our holiday. Host was very friendly. Food was lovely. Place was very clean throughout. Beds were comfortable and view from window was excellent. Hope to be back some day!

Hannah and Sam have thought of every little detail to make a stay relaxing and pleasant. Their customer service and friendly, welcoming approach are amazing! We traveled with our Border Collie who finds it hard to chill when we first arrive in a new place. We were amazed that she fell asleep the minute she was in her travel den in the room. The setting is beautiful with lots of great walks and lovely pubs to enjoy. Breakfast was lovely and cooked to order. The sofa areas to relax with a book if you wished either upstairs of downstairs are great.

Great communication and very accommodating. We wished to drop our cases off early as we were attending a wedding at Bolton Abbey. We were delighted with our welcome and the parking facilities, as the Main Street is used for parking by tourists visiting the area, in our case a Wednesday during the summer. Surprised with how spacious The Green is and we both had an excellent night’s sleep in our cavernous bedrooms with a fabulous locally sourced breakfast the following morning. 10/10. It was just such a shame, we were not there long enough to fully appreciate the accommodation and location. The view looking out towards the river was appreciated the next morning and again with our window seat during breakfast. I would not hesitate to stay again. The Green is truly idyllic, welcoming, spacious, comfortable and excellent value for money! A stone throw away from the Red Lion too, where we were meeting up with other family members. Thank you, Hannah for offering rooms in such a fabulous building and location and sharing some of your family history with us.

I am not good on stairs, so when making a late night cuppa, I had my tea black, as I could not face the steps back down to the communal fridge for the fresh milk. In hindsight, I should have taken some up to the room with me.

Super location overlooking the river with a large bathroom overlooking the dales. Very clean.

Location was perfect for my needs. A quiet, picturesque village, with my room overlooking the village green and the river. Close to the local inn, which was perfect for an evening meal, and the host was very welcoming and helpful.
