MYMYThe best kind of charming kampung homestay. Unpretentious, quaint, snug, lovingly decorated. I felt like I was visiting the Malay grandma I never had. It was both a home away from home and a totally novel experience for both my friend and me. One of the best parts of staying here was waking up early in the morning and sitting in the garden with a cup of 3-in-1. Bliss. Teratak Opah Kamunting was a huge part of why our trip to Taiping was a success. Instead of staying in chain hotels, try this little gem instead.
It was maybe a little far from the town itself, which wasn’t a dealbreaker. We just had to plan around it.
