Green Corner Villa - Cosy Luxury in Central Torquay with Free Parking & EV

Nice place to stay liked the gadget door locks comfy bed and nice shower

It was really warm day could’ve done with a fan in the room apart from that really nice room

Excellent location, very comfortable and well equipped.

Location was good.

The check in process was not good because I did not get the codes needed. Also could not contact the owner when we arrived. Room and bathroom very small. Had to go hunting for extra bedding because it was cold.

We stayed in room 3 which was really modern & clean & had all facilities we needed for an overnight stay!

Me and girlfriend stayed at the Green Corner Villa for 4 nights from Sat 27th for 4 nights. We at first was impressed with the communication from the people looking after the property, the cleanliness ect.

But when we woke up on the first morning, we had no heating, no hot water. We messaged, and called the people in charge to let them know these issues. We had to wait for them to fix this issue, and finally got showers, but still no heating. This delayed our morning plans, as we had to wait around for them to fix. When we arrived back at the property the heating issue was now fixed, thank god as it was sooooo cold in there without heating. Everything good, until the last morning, we again found ourselves with no showers, as the hot water wasn't working...again, and the power outlets to charge our phones wasn't working. I called Anna, and told her our issues, and she said 'I will come and have a look, but need an hour to wake up.' We were leaving Torquay that day, as had a coach back to London, so couldn't hang around for them to fix, so another day, no shower!! 2 Hours later, i received a message, saying everything is working etc, and the apartment upstairs had no issues, so basically calling us liars! I have used Booking.com for over 20 years, in different locations across the globe, and yes issues happen, but not to have an apology shows a complete lack of customer service! There was obviously an issue with that room, but instead of acknowledging, and apologising, Anna made out that we were lying! A very beautiful property, but please make sure heating, and electrics work 24/7 for your guests!
