"Optimal accommodation to explore beautiful Cerna valley"

We stayed in Casa Valea Cernei for one week in early autumn and we really enjoyed it. The accommodation is located some 20 km north of Baile Herculane and rather close to trailheads of various attractive hiking trails. The view, especially in the morning, is wonderful, Cerna river flows in the backyard of the house, various cozy places to relax are available in the garden, as well as a playground and a pleasant open shack, which is well-equipped for meeting at any time during the day. Rooms are spacious and convenient. Casa Valea Cernei also offers a good restaurant, the breakfast is substantial and varied. The staff is very friendly and Claudiu, the chef, speaks perfect English. Taken together, undoubtedly a very good value / cost ratio.

As unfortunately in many places all over Romania, dogs barking at night

Amazing location, very quiet, the river flowing in the backyard, what more can you ask for? Loved it! Also do not miss the breakfast, it’s too good :)

Location is fairy tale Spotless clean Huge spaces everywhere 1000% connected with the nature.

Could have better maitresses The rest is just perfect
