Villa River Rose

Kaikkein suurin plussa paikan omistajille, jotka olivat aivan uskomattoman ystävällisiä ja auttavaisia ihan kaikessa. Ruoka oli myös hyvää, söimme paikalla myös iltaisin Annan laittamaa kotiruokaa oman puutarhan vihanneksilla. Hän teki meille myös eväät suoretkelle! Nam. Huone melko spartaaninen mutta erittäin siisti, hyvä sänky ja kaikki toimi.

Sehr idyllisch gelegen, abseits der touristischen Routen. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Anna ist als Reiseführer tätig und kann viel Interessantes zur Region erzählen - und das auch auf Deutsch. Auf Wunsch kocht Anna abends (mit Zutaten aus eigenem Anbau von Viktor) oder es wird gegrillt. Das Frühstück ist landestypisch, besonders der Porridge ist sensationell.

Sehr schönes gepflegtes Anwesen. Alles sehr sauber! Leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen. Sehr nette deutsch sprechende Gastgeber.

Ungewohntes schmales Doppelbett

La Villa River Rose est très bien située pour visiter le parc Soomaa. Les propriétaires Anna et son mari sont très accueillants. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié. Le dîner préparé avec les légumes du jardin était délicieux

La localizació es Buena así como el entorno dónde se encuentra la casa.

La propietaria no fue del todo amable. Al inicio lo intentó pero ya de inicio no le hizo mucha gracia que le dijera que no iba a contratar el desayuno. Luego ya fue más áspera y poco amable Si quieres libertad no la vas a tener. Cierra el portal y no puedes salir o entrar con el coche a partir de las 21.30h (para ellos tarde, ara un turista quizá quieras ir a Parnu por ejemplo y volver más tarde).

Mielenkiintoiset keskustelut erittäin sympaattisen isäntäväen Annan ja Viktorin kanssa. Mainiot illallinen ja aamupala. Uinti joessa. Houkutteleva sauna vaatii pitkän lämmityksen ja tilauksen etukäteen. Ensi kerralla sitten.

Familiengeführte Unterkunft mit unglaublich freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgebern. Beide sprechen sehr gut deutsch. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Wir hatten zusätzlich hausgemachte Abendessen bestellt und sehr genossen. Die Lage ist günstig um den Soomaa Nationalpark zu erkunden. Rundum empfehlenswert!

A very big disappointment - I honestly cannot find anything positive to highlight.

I would not recommend this place to anyone, as it was one of the worst accommodation experiences we have ever had. In hindsight, we should have paid more attention to other reviews. The issue was not so much the tiny, uncomfortable room itself - it felt like a hostel room, suitable only for sleeping, with no space where two people could comfortably sit, talk, or read a book. What bothered us the most was the complete lack of hospitality at every step. We felt unwelcome, and the attitude was downright impolite. One example: since the room was uncomfortable, we took our books and asked if we could sit in the cafe area. Instead of a warm welcome, we were warned to be quiet so as not to disturb other guests - and this was at 8 in the evening, with just the two of us reading and no one else in the cafe. It felt very unpleasant. There was also a complete misunderstanding about breakfast, and several other unpleasant interactions followed. Overall, this place reminded us of the old-fashioned Soviet-style service culture, something you almost never encounter in Estonia anymore.
