Camera perfetta con piscina privata dove potersi rilassare. La proprietaria cucina benissimo. Cena e colazione davvero eccezionali. Superconsigliato.

Het was een fijne plek, met een lekker zwembad en er werd goed met je meegedacht door de mensen. Ze hebben een leuk hondje en huiskatten die soms rond je huisje lopen, maar daar heb je absoluut geen last van.

Zeer lieve gastvrouw. Ze doet alles voor je om het je naar je zin te maken. Verblijf is super! Lekker zwembadje, rustgevend en fijne bedden met airco. Zeker een dikke aanrader!

De locatie is wel wat verder weg van het drukke centrum, maar dit was geen enkel probleem voor ons. Mevrouw regelt of een taxi voor je of je kan zelf met de tuktuk gaan. Super goede service!

Beautifully located in the heart of nature, this is the perfect base for visiting Sigiriya and the Lion Rock. The clean, comfortable room and refreshing little pool made our stay so relaxing. Our lovely host went above and beyond, recommending a fantastic Ayurvedic massage and sharing the story of building this place with her husband. Delicious breakfast and warm hospitality, a true hidden gem! 🙏

Beetje weg van restaurants en centrum stadje

Ho apprezzato moltissimo l’immersione nella natura e la tranquillità della zona. L’alloggio era molto grande, spazioso e pulito. Davanti alla struttura c’era una piccola piscina privata con sdraio, perfetta per rilassarsi e prendere il sole. I dintorni erano bellissimi, circondati da campi coltivati. Un altro punto di forza è stata la proprietaria: una persona fantastica, gentilissima e sempre attenta alle esigenze degli ospiti.

Estar en medio de la selva con unas instalaciones brutales. La piscina, la amplitud de la habitación, el desayuno, etc.

We received such a warm welcome from Chandhi on arrival and her husband kindly carried our bags to our rooms. Everything was perfect. Large rooms, extremely clean and very well equipped. Chandhi offered to cook us a light dinner (we’d had a late lunch) and the coconut roti, dhal, sambal and cold beers really hit the spot. After an early start to visit Lion’s Rock and a plunge in the lovely private pool, we returned for a magnificent breakfast. Pancakes, fruit, juice, rotti, eggs, toast and more. We’ve enjoyed kind hospitality everywhere in Sri Lanka and we had the same at Hidden Cottages but with extra laughs, smiles and kindness from the hilarious Chandhi.
