Great location. Maeve was warm and welcoming, and provided great recommendations for hikes, restaurants, and pubs. Blind Gate House was immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, from the fruit and local cheeses to the warm made-to-order meal, and the incredible staff. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Kinsale.

The breakfast was stunning and the whole place is spotless. I liked the furniture in the room and the bed was comfortable.

The building is quite old so this means hearing a lot of sound from other rooms and water pipes! Felt like the cost was quite high.

"A BIG mistake."

The room was okay, not too cozy and beds comfortable, in room coffee/tea service + water included. Onsite parking included. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast server was the highlight of the stay - interactive and friendly.

Check in/out people (?owners) completely distant. No introduction, no conversation, no common courtesies expected at any B&B. Totally disconnected. Absolutely no reason for anyone to ever stay here. Worst stay of our 10 day vacation. While the location had onsite parking, they refused to answer the phone when I was having difficulties finding the location eventhough they were at the property. Their only objective was to get everyone checked in, collect the money and then leave.Checkin closes at 6pm. The location was an issue. While it was close to town, it was all very downhill to get there and extremely challenging to return. We opted for a taxi back. Checkout was as distant as checkin. BAD EXPERIENCE although Kinsale itself was great.
