Seaside home

We stayed at Seaside Home for four nights and had an amazing experience. This is the perfect place if you’re looking for a peaceful, oceanfront stay with a welcoming, family-run atmosphere. Why You Should Stay Here: ✔ Exceptional Hospitality: The host family is incredibly kind and helpful. They go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable—helping with transport, arranging laundry, and even calling the hospital for us when needed. They even lent us their motorbike for a hospital visit!  ✔ Great Extras: There’s a common room with free water, snacks, toast, fruit for breakfast, and sometimes even cake! It’s such a nice touch that makes you feel at home.  ✔ Unbeatable Ocean Views: The highlight of this place is the ocean-facing terrace, where you can sit for hours, watching the tide come in and out. If you’re looking for a room with a view, this is it!  ✔ Comfortable & Clean Rooms: We stayed in both the standard rooms and the family house. The standard rooms are small but have everything you need—including a direct ocean view from bed! The family house is a real gem: two bedrooms, a large private terrace, a fan, fridge, hot water, a toaster, and two bathrooms—perfect for couples, friends, or families.  ✔ Great Location: The guesthouse is surrounded by local life, with cute cats and friendly dogs playing on the sand when the tide is low. There are great restaurants and cafés within walking distance. If you’re looking for a cozy, oceanfront stay with friendly hosts, great amenities, and stunning views, Seaside Home is the perfect choice. We already miss it and can’t wait to come back!

The staff here were fantastic. They were always smiling, they had lots of reccomendations about what to do on the island. And the very kind lady offered us eggs on toast each morning. The male member of staff was always smiling. There is free water, toast, and coffee all day as well. This hotel encourages the guests to socialise by having a lobby area that you can eat breakfast or drink coffee in. The room was very clean. The room is small but it has a balcony so you can sit out there.

Such a Beautiful place to stay, with lovely hosts who are very helpful. The view is incredible, and rooms come with a fridge, AC and a fan! The balcony setting is gorgeous and they offer coffee, toast and fruit whenever you need. They offer daily cleaning if you ask. Would 100% recommend.

Only thing to note is there is no where to put clothes or belongings so the room feels even smaller with our stuff everywhere. I’d recommend some shelves or drawers.

The family who runs the place are really friendly and try to help with everything. They have a coffee/tea bar which can be used and a scooter rental. They as well can organize transfer. The location is awesome, just 5 min walk into the ,,town” where the restaurants and shops are. You have a view on the sea (water goes up and down), swimming is not possible because of the boats.

The rooms are really small but you can manage it. The bins weren’t emptied in a 4 day stay. Everything else was perfect!

Right on the water. Simple, but comfortable. Better hospitality and service than a 5-star resort. Authentic, warm Southern Thai hospitality. Our host did everything from making us breakfast every morning to arranging a full-day private boat and snorkelling trip to Koh Rok and Koh Kradan with lunch included. Absolutely recommend this place. Will definitely go back!

Over the top helpful hostess. Great location from arriving by boat. 5 min walk. 5 min walk to the busy part of the island. 2km to Charlie beach. Scooters available to rent at hotel. Sea view and small patio. Quiet spot close to everything.

Rooms are very small. Not a problem. Only suggestion would be maybe adding a table top shelf over the top of the fridge. An outlet right there would be helpful too. Small stuff. Blanket in the room would be good too. None of this takes away from the value or consideration of staying. Only trying to help owners.
