Es gab keine Kommunikation und Flexibilität bzgl. Check-in Zeit; Google Rezensionen führten dazu, dass ich mich nicht auf diesen Host verlassen konnte plus es gab keine Reaktion auf meine sms an den Host (Risiko bestand, dass wir spätabends keine Unterkunft haben werden). Darauf stornierte ich die Buchund am Tag vor unserer Abreise. Eine Reaktion kam erst am Folgetag; angeblich hatte an mich versucht zu kontaktieren - davon habe ich nichts erhalten. Keine Rückerstattung des Preises - meine erste sehr schlechte Erfahrung mit einem Booking.com Host; für mich stimmt da was nicht (abzocke). Möchte dies gerne als Beschwerde bei booking.com einreichen.

I liked the IDEA of having stayed there, but that's pretty much it. I didn't get to stay as I sent 6 months of requests to the property until the week of my stay when thy reemerged from under a rock to refuse my check in because 5pm was a hard cutoff for a DIGITAL CONTACTLESS checkin.

I didn't like the fact that they misrepresented themselves as a hotel. I didn't like the fact that they conveniently ignored various emails from August, September, November, February, and March and waited to refuse my late checkin request until 3 days before my trip. I didn't like the fact that they were condescending in their communication with me responding that "as we mentioned before" in a communication thread where they in fact did not mention before. I did not like the fact that after reviewing this property, I can see that on Booking.com, Yelp, Google reviews they have a well documented history and reputation of canceling on travelers and doing so at the last minute. I had to pay out of pocket at another property when Independenza insisted that the checkin time is ONLY from 2pm to 5pm (even though the booking expressly mentions a 24 hour front desk AND gives an option for late checkin). I didnot like that they waited 7 months to say they would cancel my reservation if I could not find a way to arrive before my intended flight & get there within the 2pm to 5pm checkin window. I did not like the fact that they have a trackrecord of doing this to other travelers and then keeping their money, hiding behind their 3 hour checkin at a 24 hour site. I did not like the way that they attempt to keep your money and found some sort of way to have Booking.com back them and ignore the multiple complaints from people. I don't know, I wonder what percent of my $492 they had to give booking.com as a kickback so as to not even attempts to fix this

Clean property and great location but not even a guesthouse more like a university hostel no tea and coffee provide the fridge is a budget wine fridge that’s not cold no kettle

Complicated checking in process the owner believed that it was because I had the wrong number listed however communication from every other booking.com comes via the messaging system … luggage transfer became a drama (40 mins between drop off and checkin time)when I asked if it we were paying the cleaner not a service then wasn’t available on the day of checkout ((a trade fair came up) the host became quite aggressive via messaging No facilities it’s 1 euro for coffee even and the light in the shower turns off quickly but stays on all night
