Lake Land Guest House

The caretaker was excellent I arrived early hours of morning and he let me in, he also helped book taxi when mine was cancelled. For him I would give 10 stars. Airconditioner worked ok. No hot water if shower, only if use bucket. Quiet at night.

The stairs to room, was expecting to be on ground level, they also were difficult for me to manage as they were iron and not proper stairs. Fortunately the caretaker helped with luggage. Fridge and kitchen were in a communal area. I had pictures but unable to transfer to booking.com

The room was basic, but clean, and very quiet, which we appreciated in Kolkata. Guesthouse is located close to the airport, which was also convenient. The subway station is about 2km from the guesthouse, so it is quite well connected to the city center. Overall it was better then we excpected, especially the staff was very nice, kind, and helpful.

The care-taker was very accommodating. Overall a good experience.

The staff, cleanliness, staffs, etc were amazing. I liked my stay there.

Some facilities can be improved like, there is no electric socket closer to the bed. It would be better for a nomad or freelancer to work from his/her laptop from the bed.

Single multitasking server very caring. Breakfast and tea coffee, rooms are clean. Has wifi, cable tv.

It is more like a home stay than a guest house or hotel. Seems overpriced. Apart from Breakfast, the food has to be ordered from outside. Booking.com needs to take up surveys before recommending price. I find the Booking.com turns up usually expensive than other sites.
