Dimitra the owner, and Eleni are warm welcoming people in the genuine Greek hospitality tradition of Filoxenia, whose interest is only for their guests to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay making great memories. As testament my first interaction with Dimitra was to inform her my ferry would be arriving at 0500 (that's 5am for the Anglos), no problem we made a mutually satisfying agreement to leave my things in secure storage so that I could travel around the island unhindered for a full day before checking in. Kommeno is a very quiet and relaxing area, from Dimitra's apartments you have stunning views high above Dafnila Bay from Sunrise to Sunset. Located well for access to Corfu town/port and day trips to Paleokastritsa, Agios Georgios and North coast(Sidari\Kassiopi) which avoids back tracking. Dimitra has a small minimart onsite for general items, as well as private off street parking essential for Kommeno area. There are stairs right outside Dimitra's gate which lead down to 2 beaches Dafnila and Spilios both with pristine waters. No better way to start the day with an early morning swim with the abundant fish in these waters.

Not a negative as I had a car, not many eating options within walking distance,

Дуже гарне розташування апартаментів, вечорами милувались на балконі заходом сонця над морем (за цим можна спостерігати безкінечно). Гарні, зручні апартаменти, привітлива, гостинна хазяйка та персонал. Лишились виключно позитивні враження. Пляжі дуже близько, варто лише спуститись сходами. Заклади харчування в радіусі 500 м.

Der Weg zur Bushaltestelle war ein wenig zu lang.

The apartment was less than what we were expecting, based on the photos online. The decor and furnishings were tired and mismatched. It was clearly a 1 bedroom apartment advertised as a two bedroom, with an uncomfortable lounge area and a kitchen that had not been used for a while. One bedroom had ample storage for clothes and the other had none... clearly meant to be the lounge. It was not the open plan, white apartment advertised online. We saw no dining options downstairs. The owner and family were friendly but sadly the accommodation was very disappointing. I would recommend that you ask for the specific photos of your accommodation before you arrive. I'm sorry, Dimitra, you were very friendly.

Очень душевное пребывание. Спасибо хозяйке и ее помощницам. Прекрасный вид из окон, пляж с пальмами, лежаки бесплатно. Спуск к пляжу по бетонным ступенькам, как плата за прекрасный вид и одновременно дополнительная физическая нагрузка.

Особо некуда прогуляться пешком.

La vue des balcons. La femme de service était très gentille.

L'emplacement car il faut absolument une voiture, c'est un endroit isolé. Les lits inconfortables, odeur désagréable. L'appartement est désuet et aurait besoin d'être rafraîchi.

Tolle Aussicht und extrem nettes Personal. Das Zimmer war oft gereinigt und jeden zweiten Tag sind frische Handtücher ausgegeben worden. Die Klimaanlage hat prima funktioniert und die Fenster sind mit Netzte ausgestattet, sodass man gut schlafen kann, ohne Mücken. Parkplatz ist auch verfügbar, was wichtig ist, weil man ohne Auto schlecht wegkommt.

Das Bett war leider ziemlich unbequem, die Matratze musste demnächst ersetzt werden. Die Möbel sind generell veraltet.
