Dimitra Seaview Apartments K

Staff were amazing and nearby beach hotels were fine about us using their deckchairs. Apartment very clean and was serviced often - always plenty of towels etc. We got in late at night (close to 01:00AM) and Dimitra was helpful in guiding us. Didn't even have to cross a road for the beach, was quite close to 2 beaches owned by nearby hotels. Early morning walks every day were mandatory. Beach nearby didn't get too crowded and air conditioning in apartment kept us cool throughout our stay. Location was quiet unlike most of Corfu during peak holiday period.

Steep stairs to and from beach - we saw oldies doing it every day and were impressed.

Wi fi was really poor

Everything. The location on top of the hill with a wonderful view of the bay, the orchard below the terrace with the smell of lemon and olive trees, the kindness and warmth of everyone at the place. The location is excellent for Corfu exploration, both to the north and to the south side. There are several good restaurants close by, but we also enjoyed the cooking at Dimitra’s taverna. The mini-market at the place was extremely convenient for people without car like us. The room was equipped with everything needed, the AC worked perfectly and again - the view, the atmosphere, the helpfulness of the staff - a great place to revisit.

Nothing not to like. We will come again.

Internet is not strong

The apartments were really comfortable and the view is one of the most amazing. If you need something you can find the most of stuffs inside the primary structure.

View, and position.

Amazing view from this apartment. We had good bedroom space, a kitchen with all you needed and a modern bathroom. Excellent. We were able to walk to a great restaurant within 7 minutes (best meal we’ve had on our travels) and down to the beach.

The shower floods (wet room style). Minor point but a mop and dust pan/brush would be really helpful.

- beautiful/spectacular views from the apartment - aircon working well in the bedrooms (but no aircon in the dining room area) - newly renovated bathroom - owner Dimitra very nice, helpful with giving advices around your trip arrangements - Elen, Dimitra’s all-in-one assistant (room made, mini market shop assistant, waitress and cook) very nice, and cooks deliciously (chicken breast very tender and tasteful, greek salad, tzatziki with garlic bread very yummy) - room service (change of towels) every 3 days which is a welcome service for an apartment style holiday - close to two beaches, you walk down approx 100m via steep steps, then decide left or right another 100m to two large Grecotel luxury hotel chain beach facilities, with chairs and umbrellas but no one asked for a fee to use them - clear waters although the beach is a combination of sand and small gravel grounds - watersports (jetski, boat rental) available on the beaches - car rental available right (10m) next to the property (though we did not use them)

- big kitchen / dining room area without mosquito scren and shades, turns the dining area into a hot oven in the afternoon after you come back from the beach and you want to cool down a bit (our room was exposed to a sun from early afternoon to sunset) - old stainless steel kitchen tap extremely loud - squealing door handles on one of bedroom door, which makes it in a big dining room area paved with floor tiles very noisy and disturbing - really terrible WIFI, in addition to a very weak mobile operators signal - bad smell coming out from the bathroom drain - missing cabinet with shelves or other options to place your toiletries and other personal stuff in the newly renovated bathroom - squeeling door hinges on the bathroom door - hard spring matraces - no real coffehouses anywhere close, the closest one is 15-20 minute away, walk up-and-diwn the hill, with really terrible coffee - (except own dining facilities at Dimitra, see my positive comment) only two expensive restaurants around - no coffee maker, no toaster, no mop

The property is very nice and the Proprietor Demitra is delightful. Nothing is too much trouble. The property is well designed and very comfortable.

It was great.

Everything was amazing. The location was ideal and the views from the apartments are breathtaking.
