Amaziah Guesthouse

I have stayed in any number of guesthouses over the years and this one is up there with the best if not the best 😍

You can't blame the guesthouse for a town falling apart, but the guesthouse and the owner's hospitality made up for the otherwise forgettable visit to Kuruman

I was supposed to have a late checking which they accommodated with a smile and self-service checking, as well as a short video of how to find the room (which I thought was a clever gesture). However, I arrived early and after a quick call was met by the friendly hostess. I was taken to my room which was very clean and spacious. The dining room was close by and always open if I needed anything.

The road to get you to the accommodation could be very misleading as you drive through what I could only presume is downtown but it is only a 5min drive then you get to the quiet little neighborhood.

Quiet area. Relatively safe. Clean.

It was a very hot day and we asked for ice. The receptionist bluntly said that they do not have ice available.

Lovely stayover - excellent communication, clean fresh rooms and most delicious breakfast box!

Nothing - it was an excellent place to stay over en route to Kgalagadi

Location excellent. Security very good. Safe parking. Accolades to owner for welcoming and information provided. Well maintained, well equipped and everything in a good working condition. The place to stay over in Kuruman!

Everything was to our satisfaction - no complaints

It is a lovely place with character and a friendly atmosphere created by the host.

Safe but roads very bad. Not owners fault. Breakfast take away so skipped. Can't complain about anything. Owner very welcoming and helpful.

Super friendly hosts. Very well maintained and spotless. Quality linen and towels.

Nothing. We were concerned about safety in Kuruman but the guesthouse is very secure and we felt safe.
