Beautiful room, tastefully decorated. Excellent location in the castle area. Very quiet with no passing traffic.

Staff friendly, but not the best english, but not really a problem

The location inside the castle walls made the experience unique, quiet, convenient, and culturally charming. You are greeted by a lovely courtyard with its own well, the rooms were exactly what we needed, and within a five-ten minute walk you could be among restaurants and cafes or shops, but within the castle walls all was quiet and peaceful. The staff were very helpful, and breakfast was lovely if you wanted to start your day that way. The beautiful Ioannana lake was also just a short walk away, as were very interesting museums. We would recommend staying here to anybody!

Might have been nice to have two chairs in the room instead of one, but this was not a big deal.

Zero service from staff when I needed something during the evening, zero response until 915am the next morning!!! Unable to reach them by phone or email!!a very poor response for such a great property, thoroughly disappointed. Lucky we did not need something vital as we were totally ignored all night!

This is the 2nd time I've stayed here. It's located just inside the old walled city (kastro) and easy to get anywhere in town. It's an old home that has been refurbished into a guest house, located on a quiet street. The owner is just lovely and very accomodating. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The breakfast is huge, enough to take for a mid-day snack. I look forward to another stay on my next trip.

I really did not dislike anything. I had lots of luggage on my first stay and it was difficult to drag it up the flagstone stairway. This time I recommended a ground floor room and it worked out perfectly.

Location and cleanliness of property

Shower head in bathroom shower was spraying water everywhere. We could not get any breakfast as reception claimed it had to be reserved prior to morning. There was nothing on the booking.com website to state this. All it claims is that breakfast must be paid on site, which we were willing to do.
