Great breakfasts, Ibu ccoked some lobsters really well for us too that we bought locally. Sanali, Mama Widia, Jordan and the family were awesome people. Definitely stay with them again.

Absolute legends. Sunali the owner and his family are great people and will help you with anything. Food is great and fairly priced. Amazing views from your room and hammocks. Would highly recommend staying.

The location is absolutely incredible. By far the best view in all of Nias. Sanali and his wife were incredibly accommodating and helped to make my stay here truly special. Whatever was needed Sanali was there to help; from chartering boats to remote breaks to providing delicious meals… and cleaning up after us slobs. the room is nothing special, but if your coming to Sorake for luxuries your making a big mistake.

We were expecting something more from the pictures online. But it is a pretty cheap place so can’t complain too much. It is not possible anymore to cook your own food but the food that they serve is really good! and yes the place is just in front of the wave but you also get hustled by everyone all the time. It depends what you are looking for i guess. The really nice owner is ready to answer to your needs but also no helpful at all in giving informations about the place if you don’t ask directly.

Very convenient location - if you’re a surfer, it's right in front of where you get out of the water, and only 2mon walking from the keyhole to paddle in. BUT the view is the best, no other guesthouse on the beach have this view. From here, you can see all the wave, the inside and all the bay. Mama’s cooking is delicious - homemade, generous portion (what you’re looking for after a big day of surfing). The ratio quantity/quality/price is the best around. Definitely recommend the fruit pancakes and the mie goreng. Convenient fridge and gas stove for snacks/morning coffee.
