John's Highland Comfort (Guest House)

The hosts are very warm and welcoming. They do take feedback seriously and immediately work on it. I'd certainly visit the property again next time I'm in Goa

The rooms are very clean and have all the facilities required. The view from the room is good and the owner is supportive.

The TV was not working, seems the subscription had ended.

Spanking clean room, lush green view, lovely and super helpful hosts, daily housekeeping, fast WiFi and very convenient location. This place ticks all the boxes.

John & Judy, along with their lovely team of helpers, are wonderful hosts. The property is nestled amongst the coconut & papaya trees with an abundance of wildlife everywhere to enjoy watching from the balconies. The rooms are perfectly set up for short or long stays with a fridge, kettle, sofa and very comfortable bed. The wifi worked well and thanks to John fitting out the roof with loads of solar panels, the power stays on even when the mains supply has a wobble. The property benefits from a little communal kitchen with toaster & gas hobs so you can prepare your own breakfast. I loved cooking dinner on the odd occasion too as I stayed for a few weeks and there are plenty of little shops around to pick up supplies. There's also a small utility room with a free washing machine (just pick up some laundry powder) and ironing board. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk away & it's a good one, the larger crowds stay further up near Colva, so Majorda beach is quiet but you still have Frank's watersports and the ever present lifeguards, I found it ideal and hope to return one day for more of the same.

The stay was very comfortable and the owner of the place was very courteous and hospitable. It is a comfortable and budget friendly.

This is a perfect place to stay during your vacation if you want quiet and calm rest! The room is spacious and comfortable, it is cleaned every day, the fridge is full of beverages, there is a balcony with a view on palm trees, birds and squirrels. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The beach is close, by bike or car it will take you 5 minutes to get there. There are shops and restaurants near the guest house. I will definitely stay here when I come to Majorda again! Thank you, Judy and John, for your kindness and hospitality!

John and Judy were the most welcoming hosts, helped us with every problem and request we had, and when we needed to prolong our stay for 3 nights, it wasn't a problem to talk it through. We would definitely recommend their Guest house as one the best accommodations we've been into! The calm surroundings, friendly atmosphere, beautiful beaches, close restaurants, and the possibility of cooking, made our stay a perfect relaxed holiday. We would love to stay there even longer!

Excellent hosts in John and Judy who gave us a great welcome and wasted no time in getting us into our room despite being very early. Room was perfect with a massive comfy bed and sitting area. There was a sink with kettle fridge and welcome pack of tea coffee and sugar. The bathroom was large with very hot water and also super clean. Drinks were supplied in the fridge with only a small mark up which was a nice bonus as usually the prices can be exorbitant . The guest house is close to both Camron and Ziggys which serve the big hotel across the road Aliwali. A really pleasant stay with wonderful hosts too which we will be making a return visit when next in Majorda.
