Very welcoming and kind family who are also super helpful with everything. I loved having nice conversations with them. Very clean and comfortable room that is close to so many restaurants and the beach is so close too. Can be a lot of mosquitoes in the bathroom sometimes, but that is totally unavoidable in Sri Lanka. Overall a very pleasant and comfortable stay with amazing hosts. If I come back to Mirissa, I’ll stay here again. Thank you!

Mallika and Nissanka will welcome you into their home like you’re family or a very close friend. Can’t recommend them enough. I’m very grateful our paths crossed and I got to experience their hospitality.

Very nice host couples with welcome tea talk. Easy walk to bus stations and beach.

A dog in the yard can be noisy during the night. Overstate of "resort" -- it's only basic homestay.

Mallika and her husband are so lovely! I arrived late and she offered me some dinner she cooked (which was delicious) and some tea. I came from a full day safari plus 2 hours transfer, so she saved me that night. Mallika offers very affordable laundry service. The room has all facilities and it is very close to restaurants and about 10 min away from the beach. The bed was super comfortable! The WiFi is super fast!

The windows from the room and bathroom have some openings, so the mosquitos go inside. Once you are in bed and you use the net, it is fine, but mosquitos were a bit annoying when doing anything out of bed. My room was on ground level, and it didn't have A/C or hot water, but I think that the rooms in the rest of the floors had.

Nice spacious room which didn't get too hot. The owners are really kind and friendly.

Amazing service, hospitality, location and the value for your money is excellent. I was travelling solo and was greeted with a choice of tea or coffee on my arrival. The woman who runs it seems really proud of her hotel, as she should be. Fans in the room, clean private bathroom, mosquito net, outside terrace area and a roof where you can see an amazing sunset.
