Great location and the owner let us use his surfboards

The host is really hospitable. It’s a traditional Japanese inn. The little kitchen was well stocked. The room had a nice back yard overlooking the ocean with a hammock outside. There are wet suites and surfboards available. There is also a vegan restaurant that’s open from 11-3 which we did not have a chance to try. The beach is within walking distance down a big hill. On the way down there are some wild pigs (no threat but huge). The walk into town is a bit long but there is a bus right at the bottom of the hill and a bunch of places to eat within walking distance. We were there off season so many places are closed.

Most beautiful guesthouse with stunning view and excellent terrace area. We loved staying there, very well equipped as well as surfboards and other equipments to use which were so much fun. The loveliest host too! So helpful and friendly. Only a 10 min walk to the closest beach which had great restaurants and also a surf shop where we could rent wetsuits and have a lesson. Great stay and wonderful location. Couldn’t recommend it more.

The property was situated in a beautiful location and the host was super helpful, offering us surfboards and information about the area. We also loved the futons, they were very comfortableZ

Rustic vibe, lovely view to the sea. Well equipped kitchen.

Bathroom was quite tired. Distance to the beach was further than indicated by the pictures.
