Himalaya Serene View Guest House & Farm Stay

We came here to relax from busy Pokhara. Totally found what we were looking for. Nice people, nice view, very clean, delicious food and cozy beds.

This is a very peaceful location, with a special family. It’s a great place to relax & look at the view for a few days. I thought I’d hike & “do” things at Begnas lake - but I ended up just hanging out here reading, playing with the puppy, learning bits about farming & eating delicious nourishing organic food. The family are gentle big hearted people - who love sharing their farm life. I milked a cow, helped with dinner & roasted coffee. They also invited me to the local school to teach English for a day- another person staying went and had a rich day. I also had a beautiful walk along the lake one day & another went on a 5hr hike to a view tower with an amazing view. I recommend both if you have the energy. You can also pay 1000 rupees for a swim at the nearby resort (pool or lake) if you want a change of scenery.

It’s not a bad thing, but if you’re looking to find a crowd of travelers - this isn’t the place . It’s also a 30min walk to a restaurant or the lake. But everything you need is at the guest house - so no need to leave for meals!

Beautiful place and friendly owners, made me feel right at home. The best food I've eaten in Nepal. I said I wanted to try the local fish so they prepared me two types of local fish, fried and curried. So nice! Perfect place for a few days to unwind after a trek. Don't bother about the surroundings, you won't want to leave the accommodation!

Simply a Homestay not to be missed! A very friendly family, an amazing Himalayan view, they are the best at cooking with all kinds of vegetables from their own garden!

The owner was very nice and welcoming, fantastic views and great room, breakfast was delicious. It is important to notice that it is not on the lake shore, but about a 30 min walk. This was an advantage to us since we wanted a bit of quiet and the amazing views

Yummy fresh food , great location, peaceful. Owners are very humble. Comfortable beds, clean sheets and towels. View is amazing. A home away from home.

Superb views, awesome and daily changing breakfast with most ingredients coming from their own garden or animals (Honey, fruits, milk etc), very friendly family that owns the hotel, good value for money, very quiet

Location as much as it is a plus regarding the view it also requires you to have a rental bike or take a taxi. In my case I got myself a motorbike taxi from the centre of Pokhara for 400 rupie

The location and view over Begnas Lake and the Annapurna range is just incredible. Just 45 min away from Pokhara Lakeshore, with unmatched scenic views. Nepali hospitality at it's best! Very friendly family hotel with beautiful garden and exceptional organic kitchen. If you travel for food; don't miss this place. You have Dal Baht, like you are being served everywhere in Nepal, and then you have the Dahl Baht served here; taking the dish to an unparalleled level. I stayed only 2 nights... If only I had known...
