Breakfast was very good. Vegetarian options were available for my partner. All cooked to order.

I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the friendly staff,as well as the functional and clean apartment.

Close to where we needed to be, a lovely pub in walking distance and parking

Our room wasn’t en suite

On site parking, pleasant host, clean room, comfy bed, generous breakfast.

We had a room at the top of the house and it was very warm up there and difficult to sleep. The whole house had a slightly tired feel about it, but everything was clean and worked fine.

Excellent freshly home cooked large breakfast including fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. Rooms very comfortable and clean.

For those that value a traditional B&B experience, Bartley House provides it - welcoming, friendly host, excellent breakfast, and great value. And for those that haven't experienced a good B&B, give it a try (it beats a Tr*v*l L*dg*!).

Room cannot be described as a De Luxe double with shower. Raised with owner and advised that bed was 2 singles pushed together - effectively creating a large bed in a smallish room. Little room to turn around in shower.
