Kayu Tua Villa

Kayu Villa is a magical quiet place, with a beautiful setup, lovely owners, a pool, motorbike rental and clean rooms. Lots of restaurants are close by. If you wish, you can even walk to Melasti Beach (1hr walk).

I actually was very happy with what I found. The room didn't have a hot water shower, which for me was fine. I didn't have a problem with this and really enjoy my private time at Kayu Tua Villa.

Kayu tua villa is the most amazing place. It is a little secret gem hidden away. The location is perfect and the owners are amazing. So welcoming and feels like my own little family. My partner and I love staying here. Before we left we had already booked more accomodation. Nothing is to hard for them , they will do everything and anything for you.

You can really feel that this is a family place with great care put into providing a little heaven for the guests. The family has their house in front of the guesthouse, so they are here but not here. It really feel like it's your own home and you can leave your stuff around like if your were at home. It's very clean, quiet and the traditional feel is very present. This not modern so no brand new, but nothing is bad about it. We live in Bali but needed somewhere close to an event, and when inquiring about a fruit tree that caught our attention, they gave us a small one to plant at home, and another hanging plant! Kindness all the way really.

The mold has impacted the wall in a recent past. None of it anymore, but its consequences are still visible on the wall and a quick paint job could make the room spotless. The blanket is too small for two people.

Good location to access south of the island, great communal area, pool table and pool, goos kitchen facilities.

Only disadvantage for me personally - the cockerel was ka-koing from 5.30am every morning all day, for ants and lizards to get into your room. All NATURE related. Loved the stay.
