Close to town close to great swimming beach on south cliff Quiet area

Nothing that we didn’t like about the property

Very friendly family. Nice clean rooms, we had a fan and AC. Location short walk to the beach and clifftop restaurants and bars. Also another set of stairs to the quieter South beach, which we preferred.

Nothing to dislike.

The breakfast was reasonably priced (100 INR) and was very tasty, it was possible to make tea in your own kitchen and have a breakfast in the adjacent dining room with a big round table top (although washed unpleasantly), small bathroom but clean, we did not discover hot water but cold would be hot enough to wash, beds fine, but you need to have your own bedding as only a fleece blanket without quilt cover was available (common elsewhere in India). The beach was close (a 10 min. walk) and location was residential, quiet.

The owners were very welcoming. The location is in south cliff and just 5-10mins walk from good cafes and beach.

Cozy stay, host was accommodating and greeted us always with a big smile. Location was close to the south cliff and so it is very short walk to one of the beautiful beaches in varkala

Very close to Varkala main beach.

The room condition is not worth it for the price charged. Switch plug points not working. Very ordinary room with a damped walls and lizards. In bathroom, no handwash, shampoo, soaps being provided. Rooms at present should be half of the price then they are charging for one night. Fortunately AC was there. Breakfast is not included in the price. We had to pay separately for that too.

Lovely owners

The family were so welcoming. The house tucked away from the main cliff but only a short tuk tuk ride away. 3 minutes walk to south cliff and the beautiful cafe Sarwaa. Dosa pancakes were delicious for breakfast.

The bed was a little hard but I slept fine.
