New Coral Garden weligama

Great location in the middle of the busy Weligama road and the beach front. Everything you need is in touching distance. Basic room but plenty of space. It had a filter shower head which was amazing and we could really tell the difference. We did a big wash as well for 500 rupees. Host was super friendly and helped us out where we needed. Overall really good value for money.

My partner thought the bed was uncomfortable but I found it more than okay. The hardness of the bed is subjective. I would advice to the host to put more pillows on the bed.

Spacious apartments located only 5 mins away from the main road and beach. The nearest supermarket is 10 minutes away. Some reviews of surrounding hotels mentioned an issue with noise from the Mosque but that was never an issue here. Could barely hear anything at night. We got an apartment with 2 bedrooms and also a large balcony where you could dry clothes on the 1st floor. There’s A/C so never an issue with heat. Shower had hot water. It was only 500 to use the washing machine, cheapest rate around town, and you could also buy water from the host for a good price. There’s a shared kitchen between the 3 apartments. There is 1 hob and a large fridge/freezer with all pans and cutlery available to use. Kavinda is a very helpful host, he’s always available over message if you need any help. Would recommend to stay here when in Weligama for a comfortable stay at a good price.

The kitchen is open so you get a lot of mosquitos, a bit of a nuisance to cook with.

I looked for a place where we can stay one week while having homeoffice and I cannot imagine better place for it - especially when it was really hard to find accomodation that would fulfill our needs. -it is really close to beach and close to plenty of good restaurants and cafes -Weligama in general was really nice play to stay for a week -We had two rooms with two tables plus a private terrace where we can also spend our time while working which was great! -the Wifi connection was really fast (I had several calls with screen sharing, recording etc. And no problem) -it has nice working AC -the communication with the host was super quick and without any problem -there is washing machine for very reasonable price It was just great :) i can really recommend especially if you are in the same working situation :)

The apartment is spacious, with a balcony. Its located in a quieter area close to the fish market. Kitchen and washing machine, AC and reasonable wifi. Recommend!

The room was clean and had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable and we really appreciated the mosquito net. The AC works great. Kavinda was a great host! He was always available and ready to help with anything we needed. He also kept our luggage for two weeks while we were traveling around Sri Lanka. The internet was the best we had of all the stays in this country. We were able to use a shared washing machine and kitchen.
