No towels in bathroom. We booked a twin and received a double

The room was characterful, comfortably and attractively furnished and well-equipped. The inn had a lively feel and was bustling on arrival. Staff were pleasant and helpful and parking was very convenient. There were no flights between midnight and 8am so we weren’t disturbed. We enjoyed a pleasant meal in the pub, although we waited almost an hour for our food.

Overall, our stay was very pleasant but there were a few things which would make a big difference, and could be easily rectified. A damaged door seal caused the shower to leak everywhere and soak the floor so we couldn’t all take showers. As there was no breakfast facility, I would have appreciated herbal tea and hot chocolate for the children, in our room, as none of our family drink tea or coffee. The double bed was in fact two single mattresses with a huge ridge between them rather diminishing the comfort and appeal of a double bed. Access to the Reception area was through the main bar, which was a really tight squeeze even with small cases and meant that we had to ask several people to stand and remove their chairs to make way, which doesn’t feel very welcoming and could be avoided by removing chairs from the access route and labelling it clearly.

Ideal location to the airport & the welcome from the staff was excellent ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
