"Roadtrip Namibië begint bij Africa Kwela"

Een kleine oase aan de rand van de stad. Je hoeft helemaal niet in het centrum te zitten. Achter de poort van African Kwela guesthouse bevindt zich een klein maar heel prettig prieel waar gastheer en eigenaar Ian het goed voor elkaar heeft. Erg leuk!

De kamers zijn wat eenvoudig, maar helemaal in orde, zeker voor de keurige prijs

Mooie en sfeervolle lodge in hartje Windhoek. Behulpzaam personeel.

Douche is wat aan de kleine kant/wasbak. Beetje gedateerde kamer, maar voor een nachtje prima.

"Goed voor kort (rust)verblijf voor of na je reis"

Het personeel was vriendelijk & correct, ontbijt is inbegrepen in de prijs en was basic maar verzorgd, van het zwembad maakten wij geen gebruik , leek vrij klein maar voldoende voor het aantal mogelijke gasten. Een uitstekend eerste verblijf om als rustplaats te dienen tussen luchthaven & eigenlijke reis. Goede restaurantmogelijkheden in de omgeving.

De parking is vrij klein voor het aantal kamers en het oprijden van de parkeerplaats vanop de straat is vrij moeiljk met grotere wagens. dit is dan ook de reden waarom we niet zouden opteren voor deze plek bij een volgende Namibie reis.

"Nice value for money and good first stay after arriving in Namibia."

Ian welcomed us despite it being after 10 pm due to our delayed flight. We also enjoyed the wonderful breakfast on the morning.

There were many mosquitoes in the room since the windows were open. It also gets very cold at night. The WiFi was very slow.
