Very friendly, very clean and very comfortable

Mike and Kim are so warm hearted and we became great friends in days. They not only take care of me as a foreigner, but also suggested some places to go, like the museums, the Highlander museum, the maritime museum, the 700 year bridge and so on. They also shared history with me which beyond scene seeing. Every time I come back they asked me how's my day and chat :) so lovely like home. Also the place is super close to the railway station, just 10 minutes walk.

The breakfast was delicious, and the location was great - far enough from the main street for a quiet, good night's sleep, and close enough to it for it to be easily accessible. I also loved my chats with Kim and Mike!

Vaila Guest House had everything I could’ve wanted and needed. The room was really cozy and warm with all amenities. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean and well set up . Most importantly to me, the place was safe and friendly. Michael and Kim couldn’t have been more kind and attentive and it was lovely to return there after a hard days work and now someone was watching out for you to welcome you “home”-plus Michael had a wicked sense of humour!
