Très bel emplacement pour admirer les sunset en fin de journée, le personnel est d’une grande gentillesse Très bon petit déjeuner, repas proposés à la carte savoureux ! Les soirées proposées sont top , concert et spectacle, une ambiance très conviviale et sympathique 🌅 Propose de nombreuses activités notamment sortie PÊCHE ! We had a wonderful stay at Pelangi Cottages. The owners, Ahmet and him wife, were incredibly kind, welcoming and always happy to help. The atmosphere felt very warm and personal, like staying with family rather than at a hotel. The staff were always positive, friendly and attentive. We never experienced a single issue during our stay. The property has a very natural and peaceful vibe, and the evening dinners, music and social atmosphere made our stay even more enjoyable.

There was nothing significant that we disliked. As Gili Air is a small island, guests should simply be prepared for the natural island environment, including occasional insects and outdoor conditions. This is part of the island experience rather than an issue with the property itself.

The grounds are lovely and well-maintained. I enjoyed the breakfast, both European and Indonesian options. The staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. An extra nice touch that they try to call guests by name and remember preferences. (maybe that's a bonus during low season). There was torrential rain the first night but the water drained away by morning. I had no issues with mosquitoes in the room or on the grounds. Bungalow 5 was spacious with plenty of storage space, seating inside and on the porch, even a lapdesk. Lots of outlets but you do need the : adapter for flat-prong American stuff. Super comfy mattress and pillows. Excellent air-con. Scalding hot water (truly! Be careful!). The location is perfect... with sunrise views of Lombok and sunset views of Bali from the beach.

On one night the smoke from BBQs or burning trash was noticeable.

Nice location on the beach, despite the beach not being the best one on the island to swim or have a stroll. At night they organise events on the beach (e.g. live music) which are a good way to unwind the day. Furthermore, the staff is very friendly.

Cleanliness was lacking. Even if we asked to clean our room (if you don’t ask explicitly the room is not cleaned) the sheets were often stained, the bidet attachment kept leaking throughout our stay and the mosquito net above the bed had animal droppings and animal-related stains throughout our stay. Additionally, the service (sometimes for breakfast in the morning and especially at night for dinner or for having a drink during their organised nightly events) is often slow.

Tout est parfait C est un petit coin de paradis du matin pour le petit déjeuner jusqu au soir pour les cocktails sur la plage au coucher du soleil. Les bons repas, les bungalows agreables, le personnel adorable

Közvetlenül a parton, kis házikók, medence, saját kis bár, étterem, nagyon közel a teknősökhöz. A napfelkeltétől a naplementéig minden csodás volt. A személyzet nagyon kedves volt, szedtek nekünk kókuszdiót, és mindig mosolyogtak, sőt, nevettek. Béreltünk a szálláson biciklit, körbejártuk a szigetet. Esténként a parton tüzet raktak, halat sütöttek. Felejthetetlen.

How we loved Pelangi Cottages. We loved everything about it and plan to go back as soon as we can. The location, the lovely and friendly staff, the fresh fish each night, the music and fire dancing and the cat that adopted us and our bungalow were all highlights.

My only criticism was the lack of alternative milk options- soy or oat milk would have been appreciated greatly.
