The location is perfect for a holiday in the middle of Apuseni mountains, away from noise and troubles. Confortable bed. Sparkling clean bathroom and excellent food cooked by the host herself, one of the most dedicated lady i’ve ever met. This place deserves a 10 !

People were nice and friendly. You have the possibility to eat there if you inform the owner in time that you want to do so. Otherwise, bring food because there is a fridge where you can store it. There is no walking distance market or restaurant. We slept quite good at night. There is a very nice terrace were you can sit and enjoy a coffee.

Good to know is that the road is bad for the last cca 4 km to the location. It may be challenging for a small car. At the location they were building a playground for kids and it was alot of noise for our entire stay. If you choose to eat there, maybe mention to the owner not to put any salt, especially in the salat. First we thought it was a mistake, but second time, we have realized that is just the way they like to make it, very very salty. So if you dont eat salty, maybe mention this to the owner. In our room the wifi was not working. Overall it was an ok staying. NOT related to the location: if you go by car close to Ghetarul Vartop, do not be fooled by the owner of "Colt de Rai" to park at his lot. He told us that if we go further by car, we will find only payable parking. We have encountered no fees for parking and you can go by car near the national park entry. He is just looking for customers to sell his marchendise. It seems like this people look at tourists and see only dollar signs. So disappointing...this was our experience

Very nicely built log cabin with superb rooms and facilities. The host is very welcoming and can provide breakfast or dinner on demand. The food is excellent: genuine home-cooked taste! Top quality pillows and mattress plus a very generous bathroom. Great location!

Excellent cabin near Casa de Piatra in Apuseni. The rooms were spacious, clean and quiet. We loved very much the traditional meals prepared by the owner. Highly recommended!
