Ένα καταπληκτικό σπίτι με τρομερή θέα και αρκετούς χώρους, ώστε να μπορούν να μείνουν αρκετά άτομα χωρίς κανένα πρόβλημα. Οι ιδιοκτήτες ήταν αρκετά ευγενικοί και στην διάθεση μας ανά πάσα στιγμή.

We spent a wonderful week of vacation in a beautiful house on a hill with a magnificent view in Kato Archanes. If you're looking for seclusion and want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, hoping to spend time in a peaceful village atmosphere, this house in a Greek village on Crete will be a great choice: waking up to the sound of roosters and, in the evening, enjoying the cool air on the terrace while gazing at the night sky. The house is uniquely and tastefully decorated in a traditional style, with everything you might need (and even more) for both a short or a longer stay — whether you're a couple like us or a large family. There’s plenty of space and everything is well thought out for both adults and children, inside and out: an olive garden and farm animals (chickens, roosters, a goose, a turkey...), a dog, a cat, and a space for playing ball, ping pong table, swings... The host, Fotini, is exceptionally welcoming and attentive. She meets you personally and accompanies you to the house, giving a thorough introduction and anticipating every detail of your stay. She is always available if needed and responds quickly. Some other members of her family also won us over with their kindness and friendliness. Fotini treated us to her delicious olive oil, fresh eggs from her chickens... Even the regular drinking water tasted amazing! Thank you, thank you, thank you! We would gladly return and highly recommend this place to everyone.

Das sehr großzügige Haus hat eine fantastische Alleinlage auf einem Bergrücken mit einer grandiosen Aussicht auf die Berge, das Meer und die Stadt Heraklion. Die Vermieterin Fotini und ihr Ehemann sind sehr herzliche und hilfsbereite Menschen. Der nahegelegene Ort Archanes mit vielen Tavernen, Cafeneons und Geschäften ist wunderschön und sehr gemütlich. Viele kulturelle Sehenswürdigkeiten, das Meer und die Stadt Heraklion mit Flughafen sind sehr nah und schnell erreichbar.

Hier gibt es keine negativen Dinge.

Magnifique Maison familiale avec vue mer et montagne exceptionnelle. Le logement est bien situé pour visiter les sites d'intérêts. Les hôtes sont disponibles, réactifs, professionnels et incarnent l'hospitalité que l'on aime en Grèce. Nous recommandons vivement !

Huge house, welcoming and talkative host, close to tourist spots and airport, but still very peaceful. Sadly we stayed only one night.

There was extra guest charge/tax that booking com supposedly doesn't charge, hard to figure out the light switched for terases. (Also no dishwasher, but it seems common in Greece)

The house was just amazing and very spacious. It consists of four bedrooms (one is ensuite) and two extra bathrooms. The view is spectacular. The hostess was very helpful on everything we had requested. It is ideal for families. The house has private parking which is very large, it can fit up to three cars. The house is located in a very quiet area therefore is ideal for people searching for some peaceful and romantic time at the balcony. For future guests: If you drive from Heraklion port / airport, the best route to reach the house is to pass the village "Patsides" and continue further to a village called "Kato Archanes" and then from there continue to the house. It is much smoother and faster. It may feels that you drive longer route but is much better. If you follow the reccommended GPS route, it guides you directly through Patsides which is very narrow and steep road and can be very tricky especially during the night.
