P'Un House

Nice room, almost a little appartment. Liked the kitchenette with possibility to make some own food. Clean and spacious place at nice location, just outside of the really busy part of the town, but close to everything.

We loved our stay at this guest house, definitely good value for money with a huge room and great facilities! Even though the pool wasn’t open that’s okay - overall we would recommend this to anyone staying on Koh tao!

The only issue was that because of the open window in the bathroom ants and mosquitoes got in and we ended up with a lot of bites but can’t complain as it was expected for the location!

We booked this hotel and upon our arrival, we realised we couldn’t stay. I booked this as a pool was advertised (the owner will say it isn’t but it was at my time of booking, I have proof). Instead we were greeted with a hole in the ground, and what appeared to be very run down and not a safe place to stay. Myself and my boyfriend have been travelling SE Asia for nearly 3 months, we don’t seek luxury and always seek budget accommodation, but this, I promise, is not where you want to stay. The property has refused to give us a refund and booking.com have not been helpful, even though this is blatant false advertisement. All we asked for was for our refund, but I really don’t think this place should be on booking.com as a trusted place to say. They trick you into paying in advance because they know once you arrive, you won’t want to stay. If you’ve made it to the end of this review. Don’t book here!

Dont make the same mistake as we made!! The room is nothing like the picruters show!!!!! The walls and the kitchen area are dirty. The bedding smelled bad and wasnt clean. The room was dark because half of the lights werent working. We booked and payed for 3 nigths and left after one night! When I went to speak to the owner they werent there. The girl who cleaned the place told us that she doent know when the owner will be back or how to contact him. I asked her to tell them to contact us but it didnt happend. We messaged them on booking as well and they didnt replay. We didnt want to stay there any longer so we gave the keys back and left. They didnt contact us till this day, let alone refunded us.

Brilliant for the price! Great location

Huge bungalow with terrace and fridge, comfy and big bed. Clean and quiet, but still in walkable distance to the busy parts of the town. And half the price of other hotels and hostels next door!

Cannot complain about anything :)
