It was in a good location and very close to the beach.

The place itself had a very run down feel. The furniture in the room was scratched and old and the bathroom was so small that the shower was pretty much over the toilet. There were a couple of old sofas outside the room which looked disgusting. There was a kettle in the room but no cups or coffee/ tea. When I asked for some I was told that this was only provided for family rooms. I explained I had a deluxe room and was told that ‘that was just a word.’ The guy on reception then found me some coffee but only one mug. In the end the kettle didn’t work anyway. There was a hot water machine in a communal area but why put a broken kettle in a room? The whole place looked tired and the photos didn’t reflect the reality. The swimming pool was tiny and in no way was it an infinity pool. This was the worst place I have stayed in Malaysia and whilst there doesn’t seem to be many international tourists, this place definitely doesn’t cater for them. I am surprised at the number of positive comments. I would not recommend.
