Nichts.

I was on a remote working trip through Canaries.Be alerted about the "no refunding policy on cancel" of this place. I booked for four nights for the coming work week.The owners have the idea to share their home with their guests like being a big family which sounds good in the first place but turns out to be intrusive at the end because they are kind of commanding you how to spend your paid time in this accomodation. They namely had in my case the strange idea that their place is for chilling and not for remote working. So they decide for you what chilling and relaxing is for you and how you spend the booked and paid time and service, here wifi. In fact in the discussion they revealed a very strange attitude. Sitting the whole day in front of my mobile and watching youTube or doing any other things on my laptop privately would have been no problem, but they did not want anybody to do remote work, because their place was for relaxing. They seemed to have a special aversion to work or working people and very narrow stubborn mind. That weared attitude was quite unrelaxing for me, since unfortunately I had to work the forenoon, so it was impossible for me to stay at this place and had to go after the first night and work day (which they could fortunately not disturb the first hours since they were not up, but did later while I had to talk with my boss; the guy noticing me talking on Teams came near playing a radio loudly). But they would not refund the unused 3 nights ! They had the impertinence to insist on their "no refunding" policy and claiming it was "my problem" if I wanted to go, because of their weared rules no traveller in this world could anticipate. You can call it a misunderstanding but they were not self-reflected enough to see their part and totally uncompromising without the slightest sense of fairness. They acted instead quite arrogant and even ridiculed me. Blaming their own greediness on me because I wanted refund.

Sometimes there was no warm water in the shower but that seems to be a general problem of many accommodations around Lajares.

A wonderful surf house with welcoming, lovely hosts. Lieselotte was most helpful in providing tips for visiting the island and setting us up for a surfing lesson with a great coach. Cesar kept things tidy and clean. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. There's multiple fridges with ample room for your food and two stoves for cooking, giving everyone the opportunity to prepare their own meals. They also have surf boards for hire. Getting a rental car is very convenient in Fuerteventura and there was lots of parking space at the hostel. There's bars and a grocery store not too far away, only a few minutes by car but also very manageable on foot. The garden lent itself perfectly to socializing with the other guests, making for enjoyable evenings.

Water pressure for the showers and doing the dishes varies a bit, and doesn't always run as hot as you might like. But this is just par for the course on an island like Fuerteventura, it's pretty common everywhere.

A very peaceful and spacious place to stay, I really enjoyed the energy and everyone was respectful.

Without a car, after dark it is not safe to walk back to the hostel so good to keep this in mind

Beautiful property with lots of characters that the owners put in. Amazing helpful owners, especially for anything surf related. If you are in Fuerte to surf then this is the best place you can stay. Great vibes all around 🤙

The cleanliness of the bathrooms can be a bit better.
