"Perfect spot to relax between sights!"

A beautiful property that was so relaxing to stay in - sad we only had one night there! The garden is a delight (I loved watching the birds, including a kingfisher) and the pool was also lovely

"Beautiful and exclusive private property with 4 guest rooms set in an exotic and extensive garden."

A beautiful and exclusive property set in a large landscaped garden and bordered by a deep river. Traditional colonial lodge style architecture. Airy & spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Aris and his colleagues provide excellent home cooked meals. Lovely swimming pool enclosed in a mature garden grove. Congratulations to the owner for creating such a beautiful little paradise at one with its surroundings.

There are only 4 guest rooms in total, so it might be hard to book in high season - but that also means a quiet and exclusive experience. Reaching the property by car involves a 2 hour drive from Banyuwangi or a 6 hour drive from Surabaya, on a very congested Jalan Nasional 3, so the best bet is to take the train and ask to be picked up.

"Great accommodation but a bit pricey"

Great garden! Beautiful pool! Delicious freshly cooked food also for vegetarians! Rooms are equipped nicely including a water cooker.

Expensive Transportation from and to the train station is not included, which we did not anticipate. As there are no alternatives one has to choose this option or walk for 45 minutes. Ijen tour would have been very expensive.

"Paradise"

Very kind and friendly staff! Beautiful grounds and pool. Excellent breakfast. A wonderful place to stay. We were here for paragliding and we could see the launch site from the garden so it was a great location too. We would stay here again.

"Great guesthouse"

The staff was really friendly and helpful and they made our stay amazing. The home cooked meals were really tasty and everything looked great. The room was specious, clean and tidy. The guesthouse grounds looked well maintained and the pool erea was nice and clean. The guesthouse is situated in a quiet area.

The bed could've been comfier

Very beautiful garden with nice pool. excellent service by Lisa and Aris. The masterroom is huge and a very large bathroom. absolutely book the plantage tour!!!! you will learn a lot !!!!
