The location, sense of history, space

It did get very hot as it is south facing and faces the sun all day. Although there is some air conditioning I felt reluctant to use it much as it is a huge room. Because of this it doesn’t really cool the tucked away bedroom area. I think a fan for nighttime might be a good option

Exactly as described. Super easy to get to by car as well. Just wonderful. The location … the air con, the comfort level. Everything exceeded my expectations. Fabulous. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Some noise from the people in the square at night.

Breakfast was arranged with a cafe next door. Easy to get to, welcoming cafe staff and good service. Being in the historic centre and close to most of the areas of interest, except one

Although the owner of the property Palazzo Castiglioni himself came to take us into the room, initially we had to ask others at the property who we were not sure were connected to the property. But they helped. The owner very kindly left his contact details with a suggestion that we could phone him at any time for anything that he could help with. He also mentioned that his manager will also be available to contact. However, we did not ask and were not informed where their office was. We would have preferred to contact the manager rather than the owner for any incidental requests. On the last day, pre-checkout, we did meet the 'manager' who was very helpful. To help others: Please feel free (but be discretionary) to contact the owner for any appropriate help - even for arranging a taxi
