Billion Views Khaosok Homestay

I had to rate this a 10, although I never give a 10. This was such a beautiful stay in every way. It’s clear that Chompunut and Pierre put care and thought into their home and lives and how they care for guests. The location was stunning and interesting and away from any bustle. The food was superb and beautifully presented, the hosts and their staff were interesting, open and generous with their time and insights. They organised travel and excursions for us. The room was really comfortable. The land was interesting to explore before breakfast.

Some people may feel it is remote but not us. The hosts made it easy to get around and were so thoughtful. Grab does not seem to serve this location. Drivers don’t take the ride. So we shared a minibus from Surat Thani station and then took a ride - paid for - from Pierre to move on to Phuket. One comment on the full day group excursion to Khao Sok national park - we enjoyed the boat rides and chatting to other travellers and the scenery was stunning, but it was also a bit of a circus and very touristy. Next time would do an early morning or evening private hike to see and feel and learn more about the local nature. Chompunut had in fact recommended we do a private tour.

Uniek uitzicht. Erg vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw. Ruime comfortabele kamer. Leuke activiteit om met de hond van de gastheer en gastvrouw de buurt te verkennen. Slechts een beperkt aantal andere gasten.

The views, the kindness and hospitality of Chompunut and her team, the lovely dog Mali, the food we had in every meal, the peace and nature surrounding the house… I trully enjoyed my stay and I would love to go back one day!

Stunning location, very large comfortable room, amazing food and friendly people. Chompunut and Pierre were very helpful.

The views and the delicious home made food (made mostly with vegetables grown on the property). The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Wir haben uns sehr zu Hause gefühlt. Chompunut hat uns verwöhnt und uns auf den Touren begleitet. Am Abend konnten wir gemeinsam unsere Mahlzeit zubereiten. Das Essen war fantastisch, ganz frisch, nachhaltig und Bio Qualität. Die Lage des Hauses ist traumhaft, außerhalb von Lautstärke und Trubel. In der Nacht konnten wir wirklich den Sternenhimmel bewundern und hatten eine tolle Sicht. Mali der Haushund hat sich immer gefreut wenn wir gekommen sind und ist ganz lieb und zutraulich. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.
