Poseidon Bungalows

This felt like a real hidden gem in a quiet and peaceful part of Khao Lak, with very good access to a small private beach and nearby beaches and town. A truly lovely location at the mouth of the river and Poseidon beach (with massive boulders!), elevated bungalows with balconies in the mature jungle tree canopy. Really relaxed atmosphere with a homely vibe from staff. Such lovely ladies who ran the restaurant area, very well accommodating for all diets and of all ages. The perfect place to spend our last few days in Thailand, highly recommend and would love to stay again.

Mijn dochters en ik hebben 3 dagen doorgebracht bij poseidon en wat een heerlijke tijd hebben we hier gehad. Onze bungalow met airco was basic maar schoon, goede airco en koelkast. Bedden sliepen meer dan prima en wat poseidon voor ons bijzonder maakt is de rust, de natuur, het prachtige strandje met de reusachtige en imposante keiien, alsof de tijd stil heeft gestaan, wat een dromerige plek. De lieve dames van het restaurant, nak en phim waren zo hartelijk en lief, net zoals de eigenaren van deze wonderschone plek. Mijn dochters van 19 en 23 hadden het ook prima naar hun zin hier, in de omgeving is ook een gezellig plaatsje met restaurants en wat winkels, zeker niet massaal en heel relaxed. Als ik ooit terug kom naar thailand dan zal dit mijn eerste stop worden. Ik ben heel dankbaar voor de tijd die ik hier door mocht brengen!

Dingen die wellicht wat beter konden werden door ons overtroffen door alles wat wel goed was! Hier kom je niet voor luxe maar voor de wonderschone omgeving en energie van de plek

We knew this is not a shiny place when we chose it but still we were negatively surprised. I believe that when somebody sells accomodation at least the beds should be comfy. Here the state of the beds was just tragic. Also the bathrooms are in need for some serious renovation. The location itséf is fine... beach next door is great but the garden could be better maintained as well. Generally not a good place to go even when lower price is considered.

Paradies auf Erden. Einfache Bungalows mit Klimaanlage und Kühlschrank, Balkon, Handtücher, Duschgel, Shampoo Einmalige Lage. Auf der einen Seite, direkt vor der Tür Flußzuströmung, auf der anderen Seite langer Sandstrand mit Bars und Restaurants. Jederzeit wieder. Tolles Personal, sehr familiär und freundlich.

The location is heavenly and the privacy of each bungalow is perfect for a getaway. Private beach, sunset heaven.

All the basics are here. If you are looking for luxe, look elsewhere. You stay for the location and the lovely staff.
