Nice beach for those who looking for remote place .. the staff was okay . The woman at the reception try to give us some compensation for our disappointing feeling and we thank and appreciate her for that .

The room we’ve got was inappropriate ; Claustrophobic , unpleasant , too tight with the neighbor and have no privacy . The bad was too soft and too small . In total - the room level weve got was way below our expectation and what we’ve got until that and after that in Thailand , for the same rate of money and even less .

Exceptionally warm welcome! Presented with much appreciated ice cold water on both arrival and departure. The Beach Chalets share a lovely private beach front grassed garden area with recliner chairs. Beach itself is stunning - with everchanging swimming conditions - the best fun and stunning sunsets! A handful of other resorts/bars/restaurants on the beach gives choice - but KJB bar and restaurant itself is fab for food, drinks and great service plus nightly fire show. Bike rental on site (helmets provided) and this is best location for easily exploring stunning south of this island. Bungalow itself was basic - but such lovely design & layout - gorgeous views from both window and terrace, clean, bed & pillows comfortable. Loved being able to properly open the windows & enjoy sea breeze!

Only the price - just not in line with the standard of accommodation compared to everywhere else we stayed. Understandable - high season+high demand+premium location . Just few very minor upgrades (such as proper sun loungers, beach towels, or including breakfast in room rate) would address this .

We had an early start for a diving trip on our very first morning. Understanding that we'd likely miss breakfast with the kitchen not being open that early, our host Sue made the extra effort to ensure we had a lovely breakfast waiting especially for us as soon as we were out of bed. Exceptional!!

Beautiful beach, clear water, at peak season very few people on the beach Clientele were families and couples Amazing fire show on the beach Very relaxed vibe Lady who runs the resort has great English, a lovely manner and nothing is a problem, and is always available. Good section of Thai and European food options, price was mid range for food Breakfast is choice of 3 set menus, very limited and not generous. Comfortable beds but room not serviced over 4 nights, so ran out of toilet paper and no clean towels, no towels for the beach either. Friendly, happy staff but definitely on island time, lacking in small service details, like forgetting to bring you a plate or cutlery when delivering a meal in the restaurant. Our conclusion fabulous location, with clean almost empty beach, property has a lot of potential as beach front property, but needs significant investment to be above a 7/10 rating.

Bathroom and toilets need to be upgraded Accommodation is bark old and tired and basic. They have random glass tiles for windows at night light shines through and you can’t cover them as the are half way it a wall. Needs more space to hang towels and more shelving to put things on. Rooms are not serviced, so you have to go to reception to ask for more toilet paper. No sustainability for drinking water, one use plastic bottles only. We booked for three people, on arrival we were missing duvet for one bed, they dropped off a sheet. This was quickly rectified the following day but illustrates the lack of detail in service. Air conditioning works well, however very noisy. There were two birds living in the roof, noisy at night.

We found the bungalows last minute without doing too much research but were glad we stumbled on it. It was such a calming spot right on the beach and more secluded at the bottom of the island. It almost felt like our own private beach. Fire shows at night and free kayaks to go out on. The best thing about it was the staff, especially Sue. She was so thoughtful and kind! She also sorted us out with motorbikes and transfers. Made our stay very special.

The setting of the bungalows is perfect...right on the beach on a beautiful part of the island. The food and drink offerings at the restaurant are great and we enjoyed the free kayak hire. The thing that makes this place extra special are the people that work there. Sue is so friendly and lovely, as is everyone who works there. Organised us onward ferry to Phi Phi, same day laundry service and moped hire. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again anytime.

The bungalow we had was very basic and could do with some extra touches like a bed side lamp and a bit of TLC, but the bed was comfortable and the AC worked well and we loved the hammock outside our room. The setting, the beach, the restaurant and the staff make this place.
