Gorgeous house with lots of lovely plants and greenery, my room had its own little private garden and pond with fish which was really special! Lovely shared area and roof terrace. Big, comfortable bed. Hosts were so friendly and helped me out when I needed restaurant recommendations or questions about my buses! They also helped me organise a tour of Borobudur and Prambanan temples with there nephew, Alfad as my driver. He was safe, fun to drive with and introduced me to new Indonesian fruit! The hosts also made me a gorgeous breakfast for the trip. Would recommend as a unique and friendly place to stay in Yogyakarta.

The local mosque seemed close by so can wake you up with 4am prayers.

The house is lovely. Comfy bed. Hot water works really well, but most important over all the family is caring, warm, lovely.. they make you feel like at home!

Excellent location close to all places you would want to go. The staff tries to be friendly, feel like family, and are very accommodating. Our younger kids stayed in the second level and they loved the place.

No privacy, in the master bedroom (King Room with Garden View): 1) The room and bathroom had thin walls that are not soundproof. More importantly they had big high "windows" always open. At first it looks nice, then you realize these windows gives people in the second level a view into the bathroom and bedroom. 2) The staff are the place's owners themselves. They live literally next to the master bedroom, so everywhere you go it is like being monitored by watchful parents. These points made our stay stressful enough. By the end of it, I could not wait to leave. Not to mention there were also more than one padlock and in order to go anywhere you had to lock and unlock a padlock. I do not usually give bad reviews, because I always check ratings before I go anywhere. Unfortunately, it seems that the city has a lot of this going on, where many places have high ratings but disappointing when you visit.

A really wonderful place to stay. The hosts were so friendly and kind and made us feel so welcome. They were so helpful with recommendations of things to do locally and places to eat. They also made us coffee in the morning and were more than happy to chat with us and answer any questions we had. We felt right at home! We also used their driver to tour the local temples and had such an amazing day. The room was lovely and very comfortable and such great value for money!

Very eclectic and quiet. Close to train station and walkable to various museums. Host very generous and helpful. Scooter rental was provided

Friendly host, good location, near city center, there are so many plants, fresh view and budget friendly too.. there are chairs on roof top great to see around the house in the morning and maybe enjoy the sunset
