Hilias Retreat

Everything. Made to feel welcome. Can't beat the location. A very clean room and clean around the building. A must stay. We will be returning.

There was nothing to dislike. Everything was good.

Enjoyed our stay at Hilias Retreat. The owners were lovely and location was perfect, 30 second walk to the beach.

The room was fairly well sized but the bed was not comfortable, very hard. The bathroom / wet room was poorly designed, water from the shower would go everywhere including on the toilet and it took a long time to dry. Would hope that they would provide better toiletries for the price paid and more frequent housekeeping

Excellent location. Right across the street from the beach, walking distance to everything. The hosts and thier little dog Puglin were a delight. Exceptionally helpful and friendly. My room was spacious, bed was comfortable and fridge with stocked water was an added benefit. Also no bugs or mosquitos. Above all, the vibe was very calm and welcoming. The host went above and beyond to help me with a lost luggage issue as well as to organize transport to nearby beaches. I felt extremely welcomed during ny stay. Highly recommend this hotel!

Great location. Staff very happy and friendly. Chilled water available at a t reasonable charge.

Small room, not enough room to unpack. Shower was hot but not enough power. Price was high compared to equivalent rentals booked independently in the Palolem beach area.

Loved the new spacious room, it looked out onto the back courtyard area which gave it welcome shade rather than sun beating in. Reena our host was charming, her staff were organised and friendly and her pet Pug was a delight for us. Bottles of water were well stocked in the fridge at 20rupees each. Hilias Retreat is well situated a short stroll to the beach which was close enough but far enough away from the busy beach scene
