This is a fabulous place to stay in Reefton. Quaint, extremely comfortable, and an easy walking distance to town.

You get the whole front of house. Huge lounge room with fascinating artifacts and photos, fireplace etc. bed super comfortable. Walking distance from shops and good food recommendations. Spotlessly clean.

這是我們前往西海岸的中繼站，南島有很多掏金小鎮，我們最喜歡這個小鎮，不會太熱鬧也不荒涼，推薦到鎮上的遊客中心及街區走走，坐在戶外喝個咖啡及了解這邊的過往 這間住宿非常特別，每個小角落都看得到主人的用心，屋主用很多小紙條指引小細節，早餐有麵包、麥片、牛奶、奶油、香蕉等，很豐盛而且奶油非常厲害! 感謝主人提供Brita濾水器，讓我們喝水很安心，微波爐、烤麵包機、餐具也都保養得很好很乾淨~ 入住是用密碼盒取得鑰匙，很簡易；晚上記得關窗，不然小蟲會飛進來~ 是我們在南島18天最有特色、CP值最高的住宿

Thanks to the hosts for going to a lot of effort to make our stay an absolute pleasure. A lot of attention to detail and thoughtful provision of breakfast and facilities. Our best ever Homestay experience and a pleasure to use such a lovely, historic home. Helpful check in communication and arrived to a warmed up and cozy Villa. Thanks for the fascinating memorabilia. we should have stayed longer just to soak up all that info. We are referring this property to many other travelers.

The hosts had a gone the extra yard. Everything we needed was supplied. Breakfast of cereal, local honey and toast , tea or coffee, yoghurt and apples. Plenty of reading material about historical gold town, Reefton. There is a nice river walk and swing bridge to the old Powerstation and through town. Beds are comfortable with heater and log 🔥.fire.

We did a self check in so never met our hosts but I'm sure they are nice.❤️

It was a privilege to stay in this historic house. Everything we could possibly have needed was there, and it was clear that a lot of thought went into fitting it out and making it comfortable. There was even a very good continental breakfast provided, something that is often absent from so-called "B&Bs" these days.
