The Old Vicarage

The space was very relaxing with a romantic fireplace which was warming the room upon our arrival. A very welcoming atmosphere. Complimentary breakfast was superior. Loved the home baked bread with homemade jams and conserves. Everything was supplied. The best bed and shower I have experienced in a very long time. Value for money. We wish we could've stayed for a week. Reefton township is very heritage and interesting. This place was a real gem.

Warm, comfortable pleasant place to stay. Has everything you need for a weekend away. 5 minutes walk to township, close to bike tracks too. Highly recommend to others.

The location was great, not in town, but a short walk across the bridge to the main street. There was a pleasant view of the river through large windows. We liked the old world charm, with antique furnishings, and the large collection of books, especially the ones about local history. The current hosts seem to have thought of everything guests may need and there was plenty to choose from for breakfast. Instructions about heating, the appliances, the lock box etc were very clear. The rooms were well heated and warm on arrival.

Room was warm on arrival. Lots of little extra's throughout the place. Plenty of space to spread out. Fascinating if you like a bit of old worldy memorabilia mixed with modern comforts.

The Old Vicarage was a beautiful villa that was very comfortable and located within a short walk to the town. Di was an excellent friendly host who corresponded quickly and also provided a wide range of food and drinks for our stay. The house had a easy to light wood burner and boosted water wall radiators and as a result was very warm. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a large bath and good powerful shower. We especially enjoyed the numerous photos, paintings, and ornaments throughout the house and also the TV with access to several main streaming services websites and also to a number of DVDs. We highly recommend this house.

Every single thing we like in a holiday BnB was there, beautifully decorated in a bygone era style with a comfortable bed, a great bath and shower, a wood fire, comfortable leather sofas
