Kot Babi

We had a wonderful stay at Kot Babi. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the ferry, restaurants, and the beach. The tropical garden creates a peaceful atmosphere, and the hosts are very kind and welcoming. 🌴

The place is beautiful, room great and spacious. The outside has a magnificient vibe and the inside is like you're staying at someone's home (in the best way possible). They organized a bike guy to pick us up and he then offered us the bike rental, which we took. Not sure if its the best price you can get, but it was very convenient.

The main issue and why we ultimately had to downgrade our review, is the camera on the veranda, that quite cleary tapes the enteritey of us stay when we sat outside. I understand the need for safety, but this lack of privacy there was really disturbing. Based on our understanding of the camera, because the light was glowing red (as you can see at night), it was constatly on and could eenable the owner to see us outside. Note that the veranda is the only place where you would eat breakfast or drink beer or similar. It just made us feel uncomfortable.

The service is totally inefficient, only one towel each. For three nights no cleaning or change linen and towel. Zero amenities, cups dirties for three days. The ceiling is 1.55 meters because the room was under roof. Everything really old. No blanket. You can heard everything from the room beside.

Alles was Mann braucht ist da und super nette Menschen

Die Lage ist super, alles was man braucht liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Gastgeber sind superlieb, helfen bei allen Fragen und haben auch tolle Tipps.

Da fällt mir nichts ein

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Man kann die Unterkunft mit der Fähre erreichen.

-Die Unterkunft ist stark in die Jahre gekommen. Einrichtungen wie Dusche etc. sind rostig, die Vorhänge teils dreckig. Insbesondere die Matratzen sind alt und kaputt. Es gibt nur Laken, die verrutschen. -Uns wurden am Hafen minderwertige Fahrräder von einem Bekannten angedreht. Das war nicht unser Plan. Wir hatten einen anderen Verleih ausgesucht und haben uns im Nachhinein geärgert. - Neben der Unterkunft befindet sich stehendes Gewässer - es ist kaum möglich den Moskitos zu entkommen. Auch mit Spray ist man machtlos. - Eine meiner Töchter hatte während des Aufenthalts (wir waren davor und danach noch auf den Seychellen und es war nicht weiter der Fall). Zudem haben wir alle eine bakterielle Lungenentzündung durch die Klimaanlage bekommen. Glücklicherweise hatte ich den Medical Service gebucht. Der Arzt teilte meine Vermutung. - Insgesamt war die Unterkunft meine negativste Erfahrung auf den Seychellen. Ich war schon häufiger dort und habe keinen Luxus erwartet - sofern man kein hochpreisiges Hotel bucht. Aber ein Mindestmaß an Ordnung, Sauberkeit und Hygiene wäre gut. - Die Vermieterin war stets freundlich. Es tut mir Leid, diese Rückmeldung geben zu müssen, aber das war unsere Erfahrung.
