"We enjoyed a night stay with our lovely hosts and their rose garden"

The hosts warmly welcomed us and showed us their magnificent rose garden in full bloom. The separate apartment is attached to the main house. Thus, a corkscrew was provided within a couple minutes of the ask. We used the supplies to prepare our own breakfast. This worked out well for our group that doesn’t mind cooking. The homemade lemonade was delicious. The beds were very comfortable. We received a dinner recommendation for the Onyx restaurant. This was a great restaurant about 5 minutes drive.

The apartment although a bit dated was very clean, comfortable, and cozy.

We loved the kindness, friendliness and care Andrea, Bill and Andrew showed us. In short, they couldn’t do enough for us. And the place is lovely. Very comfortable, warm and cosy. It all felt just right. There are two bedrooms, shared bathroom, a comfy lounge area, and handy kitchen, with stuff for breakfast provided. And the Cambridge area was really good to base our travels through mid NZ.

Andrea always been an excellent warm person.. My overseas(Tahiti)family and I staying to her whare twice in 2 years...her whare (apartment) is so cozy in a quiet and safe environment..

Andrea met us and had the stove on. A warm greeting for our host and a warm arrival into the property on a cold day. Lovely attention to detail, good choice breakfast, teas and coffees, homemade lemonade. Recommendations made in advance of our stay which we listened to and we had a great night in town. 10/10!
