The b+b is very comfortable to stay in , quiet , lovely area not far from town , lovely parks nearby to go for evening walks , Chris was a really good host , very accommodating , have already recommended it to other people and we will 100% be staying again

Fantastic place loved the room - got a home from home charm about it host was amazing would I stop here again 100% Loved it was like home from home but fancier, little things like having a sofa to chill out on to a great tv with a DVD player and in the room there's a bunch of DVDs to watch to a book case full of books to read its over and above what you would expect. Wifi was super fast - TV great smart tv so can log in to your stream services Room so clean there is nothing I did not like about my stay And The host super friendly even a nice text the next day to check all was good

We had a very comfortable stay at The Barley House and Chris was most helpful and welcoming. Imparting local knowledge and upgrading us, we even met for a drink in the Woodside pub later in the evening.

It’s on a bit of a hill that’s not a problem on the way into the town but we took a cab to get us back at the end of a full evening!

Customer service from start to finish was excellent. Felt welcomed, nothing was too much bother and had everything we needed for our nights stay. Bed was comfy, shower was warm. Perfect Base, close to town.

There was nothing that we didnt like.
