The host, Bonnye, was very accommodating for my friend and I. She helped to drive us from our stop to her property. She also graciously drove us to the train station when we departed! This is a highly decorative b&b with a lot of flower decor placed throughout.

The bed we stayed in was round and too short (I’m 6’3”). The shared bathroom lacked hand towels which would be nice to have available.

Bonnye is such a lovely lady. Very friendly and , helpful. Felt very relaxed. Met us at the train station to help us arrive with ease and helped us plenty of times with getting around. Much appreciated. Quiet area and also at night time. Both slept well. Home is clean and tidy. The rooms and bathroom have everything you need and you feel like you could just ask if there was something else you needed. I've no doubt Bonnye would be happy to help with anything. My son has food allergies so breakfast was catered to what he could have. He loved holding the chickens and meeting the cats.

I couldn't get logged on to the Wi-Fi. I'm not sure why but it wasn't connecting but it wasn't a huge problem. Garden was under works on our visit but that was just unfortunate timing. We was still able to use. Perhaps when we come back we can all sit out there together with our coffees.

I’ve never really stayed anywhere quite like this before. Very eccentric and not the normal place you’d stay . However it was clean in a strange sort of way .

Far too cluttered with wedding dresses and ornaments, to be honest is was a fire hazard which was concerning. The request to leave your shoes at the front door was very bizarre to say the least . I didn’t like being woken early by the chickens in the back garden.

Bonnye the landlady is an extremely friendly and warm person with an outgoing personality, which reflects in her cosy guesthouse. She creates a home from home. She goes out of her way to please her guests and make them welcome. She was also very kind to my daughter and showed her the chickens in the garden etc. The breakfast consisted of fresh eggs from them! Such a nice holiday, we look forward to come again -definitely! My daughter was in tears upon leaving.
