It’s a homy peaceful Safe hidden oasis if you wanna relax and rest after some day sightseeing in the busy semiyak center. I think The host puts lots of love to this place! I like her fluffy cats 🐱! Highly recommended! Thanks for everything and I had a wonderful stay!

My stay at Shalana Homestay in Seminyak, Bali was an absolute delight. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the owner's warm hospitality and a delightful surprise – the presence of beautiful animals that added an extra layer of joy to my experience. The well-designed rooms provided a comfortable retreat among the serene surroundings. Interacting with the friendly animals was a highlight, and the host's genuine love and care for them were truly heartwarming. The tranquil atmosphere and the host's attentiveness created a perfect balance of relaxation and hospitality. Shalana Homestay is a haven that combines a love for animals with exceptional hospitality.

Our host’s home is very authentic and homely, and the rooms we stayed in were very spacious and comfortable. Stephanie was super helpful and fixed our A/C within hours of us letting her know there was an issue with it. The location is very central so it’s walking distance for the beach and shops / restaurants. Of course we have to mention the pleasure of having daily cuddles with Poppy, Sidney and Leo! We ended up extending our 2-night stay to 6 nights so we can certainly recommend this home stay. Thank you for having us!

Good location, very affordable, air con in rooms and a mosquito net on the bed. Bathroom was also nice

Dogs in the property would bark and not leave us alone when we came in. Wasn’t particularly clean

room was simple but clean. it had a wardrobe, mirror, working fan and ac, a safe and mosquito net around the bed. the bathroom was nice. the cats at the house were super friendly and cute. we loved our stay and the location was great. staff were very helpful and we wished we could have stayed longer. perfect for people on a budget

it is a bit tricky to fine down a side street, doesn’t show up well on maps sometimes

First off, if you're looking for a comfortable location in the heart of seminyak that is simultaneously peaceful (no traffic or noise pollution), this is the place to be. Shari is an incredible host. Not only that, she had great recommendations for restaurants, spas, and bars all around seminyak - you won't google a thing as long as you're with her. She's also very personable and has the cutest critters, including turtles! Will be coming back when we're in the area.

Lovely environment and location, super lovely host we spent a really wonderful Nyepi with and lots of games days. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Cheap honesty bar a bonus! Great kitchen, comfortable bed and nice big room. One of the nicest places we've stayed in Asia.
