Chalets Des Vacances

Great location! (but you need a car) Quiet, cozy place with a beautiful view from the window. Comfortable bed. Many thanks to Adam and Mervin for their friendliness, care and delicious fish dinners!

We were here only 2 nights. Its good for stay in Mahé, close to nice beach Anse Intendance. Nice view to jungle. Adam and his colleague were nice and kind, give us fresh fruit plate as welcome, let us late check-out.

Cocroaches and centipedes inside - but you are in jungle so its possible At first it looks great there, but after time you'll see that many items need renew. Toilet and shower little stinks. We were unlucky and some locals were here in same time, they were very loudly to late hours every day ( loud music, screaming).

Wonderful apartment with a beautiful view, well located on a hill. Inside there is everything you need. We especially liked the wonderful staff, ready to help with any problem. Highly recommend!

Internet is slow, not very suitable for remote work.

Quite and peaceful place surrounded by nature and rainforrest sounds.

Our stay at Chalets des Vacances was amazing. The crew was very nice and helpful. The room was big, clean, had a full kitchen and everything 2 adults and a 4 yo child might need. We stayed there for 2 weeks and felt at home. You must have a car, we drove around the island and saw all the beaches. We has dinner there twice and the food was delicious. It's a bit hard to find on Google maps, look for le reduit restaurant, it's right next to it. Threre is a nice 15 min hike down the hill through the forest and some local houses, to get to Takamaka Beach. A local named Dariel that lives close and is the son a lady that works there, took us on a 45 min hike to the Rock pool, which was amazing. It was free of charge even though I offered to pay for him guiding us. I tried to find the was by myself but couldn't find it. Even though the rock pool looks beautiful, I don't recommend swimming there since once in a while, even during low tide, I big wave can get in and pull you out. We had a great time and I highly recommend the place.

A bit hard to find, but not all the roads are on Google maps. Once you know where it is, it's easy.
